[SOLVED] 4k gaming?

Is my system good enough for 4k gaming? What monitors are 4k? Is that just a 144hz monitor or is that an actual 4k tv? I'm going to buy a 27" inch 144hz monitor but if my system is good enough I will just buy a 4k tv.

Motherboard: Gigabyte z170x gaming 7
CPU: i5 6600k overclocked to 4.5ghz
GPU: Evga 1070ti hybrid
RAM: Vengeance LPX 3200mhz(running at 3000mhz)
PSU: 80 plus 600watt

If my system is better for a 144hz monitor, do you have any suggestions on a good priced one? Preferably no more than $300. Thanks, sorry I'm still a noob

a 4K tv doesn't offer the same experience as monitor, so not good to compare
144hz is nothing to do with 4k - 144hz its speed, not resolution

Can your card do 4k? Just - over 60fps, probably not in a lot of games unless you cut down the quality.

144hz in a 1440p would be best for you, I wouldn't go the 4k route
