4K HDMI Cable help ?

Hi guys , So i was going to buy a 42 inch Lg 4k edgelit led tv but the salesman in the shop was going on about how i need 4K Hdmi cables which where around £50 lol Now i remember seeing on tv etc that the whole hdmi cable stuff is nonsense but i was just wondering as it is 4K do i need any sort of special type of hdmi or not guys ? and if so a link to one in amazon or something please ? cheers

HDMI is 4k compatible. The refresh rate is something else. You need a HDMI 2.0 for 60 Hz. Anything lower is just 30 Hz
