Hey everyone,
I feel almost silly asking anything about graphics cards at the low end, but I just have no expierance with HTPC steps (only ever built gaming rigs).

I'm looking to build my missus a HTPC for the loung room.

So far the build is
CASE -Thermaltake armour a30i
CPU-AMD FX-6300
RAM- 4GB DDR3
motherboard- undecided (will just get cheapest that supports other parts)
Graphics card - point of question
Psu - will work this out after all other parts chosen

Now, here comes the question, I want a graphics card that can support display port and hdmi.
Something that can handle 4k video playback on a 4K TV...
I was thinking about something like the 2gb r5 230 or the right 2gb r7 250. Would this be suitable? If not any sugetion is welcome. Like I said earlier, I have only ever build gaming rigs

Thanks for any help you can give me

None that I was able to find. NVidia's web site seems more driven towards gaming and generally states since there is no 4K content readily available, it's not a concern at this time. If you want 4K resolution (in games), you'll want an SLI setup. Of course that's far and above your needs, but I did find a third party report which stated that the Geforce GTX660 was capable of displaying 4K content. I assume the GTX760 would also support 4K content, but I'm pretty sure both of these solutions are more costly than the AMD Radeon solutions.

Thanks again - like I said, for me gaming is easy to compare, check bench marks and go from there and compare price to proformense.... Low end ( but adding 4 k) confused the @#*+ out of me.... I appreciate the help, I will go for the step up :)
