So as title says, I'm looking to buy a 50-60 inch TV that supports 4k gaming. I've read that you need a TV that has a HDMI 2.0 adapter( support ) so you can run 60hz at 4k.. I think this is the TV I would want. What has me a bit puzzled is if this TV has a 2.0 connection. it just says HDMI's but no specs on what type. Could anyone help me see this factor? I would really appreciate it. Also, please feel free to add any advice for my in this area and your 4K Tv of choice/ opinions on it. Thanks!

Bestbuy site is a failure in that regard. However, if you read the reviews or look the TV by it's Model: P50-C1 it has 5 HDMI ports, 4 of which are supposedly 2.0 (2.0a with coming firmware update, supposedly)

50" version has VA panel, which has supposedly some problems with ghosting.
I have not seen this in person so that is just my "I read about it" opinion, worth only as much as you put on it.

Also, no idea what the input lag/latency is if used as gaming screen.

That link puts input lag at 43ms which is... not a lot for a TV but kind of defeats whole point of 60Hz (16.6ms)

For gaming on TV's one of the most important specifications is input lag, you need it as low as possible, under 40ms which is still slow compared to a proper monitor. The problem is TV manufactures normally don't give it and you need to look it up in independent reviews. This is a good source of input lag reviews but there are more http://uk.rtings.com/

Past that, I cannot help.
