Which has better blacks, colour, etc? and is it worth it?

From my experience, you better go in store and check both TV live. The colors are specific to each manufacturer. Some people prefer sony, some samsung, and so on.

On the other hand, it only worth it if you have any content to look at. 4k movies are not yet popular. If you also plan to play some video games - like fifa - from PC you will need a very strong GPU (expensive).

I have a 4k samsung, its unbelievable. I've seen the LG as well and also looks great. Performance wise they are similar, your best bet is to go to the store and try to compare them in person. What looks good to me may not look as good to you and vice versa.

Arguably at that size 4k may not be worth it. Mine is 65 inch so it is easy to see the difference.
