[SOLVED] 4K TV stopped working when changing wallpaper?!

Ok so, I just got my 4K TV. when connecting it to my PC , it was already set to 1080p. I changed the res to 4K, and it worked.

Then I changed wallpapers. When the wallpapers changed, all my monitors flickered, and then the 4K TV screen became totally grey. I thought the HDMI connection was broken, but i changed the res to 1080p again , and the TV could display again.

I changed back to 4K, screen showed in 4K for one second, then became grey again. It seems it only wants to show 1080p, but it clearly supports 4K lol.

Could this be the length of the HDMI cable? I think mine is 10 meter, and it's not active or anything. cheapo HDMI cable.

I suppose I could get a new cable and try, but it's just a year old =P

the print on the cable just says: E324703 AWM STYLE 20276 HIGH SPEED HDMI CABLE WITH ETHERNET

so if that's a high speed, then maybe i need premium high or ultra high?
