4K video at a Low resolution monitor?

My question is do i really need a 4K monitor to experience a 4K video? Cause i have a 1366x768 pixels Dell monitor but my PC is capable of loading youtube upto 4K. Would watching a video at 4K over FHD make any difference on a monitor like this?

If your monitor cannot display 4K, you aren't watching 4K. It's streaming 4K, sure, but the full resolution is not displayed. You need a 4K monitor for 4K video.

Actually your resolution is closest to 720p so that's where you would get the least amount of distortion from rescaling.
