Hi, a computer with otherwise quite good componennts that is bootlenecked with 4 GB of ram on 4k monitor. RAM can't be upgraded. What could be a solution? (Changing a PC is not an option).

1. I was thinking of getting Samsung DEX which looks great but doesn't support 4k. Any way to use it in 2k and not be all blurred.

2. Any other way besides changing resolution to get it on 2k?

Solution
4GB of system RAM or 4GB of VRAM?
either is ridiculously low for modern applications.
RAM can't be upgraded. What could be a solution?
if it's 4GB of system RAM;
getting a motherboard that actually supports decent hardware would be the best option.
you wouldn't be "Changing a PC", only making it a more capable system.

if it's 4GB of VRAM;
than you should be looking into a better graphics card that supports the resolutions and refresh rates you would like to see.

It's RAM and it's soldiered on. It's an XPS, hence the unwillingness to change since everything else is good, especially the great screen.

Has anyone experience with DEX and how to make it looking ok on 4k monitor?
