I will be using Vegas Pro, Hitfilm Pro, Ableton Live, Blender, and a photo editing software (recommendations would be welcome, I DO NOT WANT ADOBE CS)

I am needing a computer because currently, I just have an old laptop that barely edits 720p footage and I’m building a client base for a videography business and need to stop borrowing other people’s computers to edit with.

You should spend a bit more on a better GPU

Please expound on why. I won’t be doing a lot of animation and my editing program is mainly CPU driven. Also, explain your choice of AMD GPU over NVidia.

Once I get more 3D experience and demand I’m planning on upgrading to a 1080ti.

That PSU has a lot of negative feedback. Something about the circuits being hazardous and fire causing.

Also, please explain the two 8GB or RAM. I’m wondering the reasons for your choices, not just what your choices are.

Thank you!

AMD Rx580 performs almost double as fast as Gtx1050ti. If spending a few bucks more can give you a much better GPU then why not? Also I suggested AMD because it was cheaper than Gtx1060 6gb (the nvidia equivalent of Rx580) and since gaming was also one of the reason for this PC so a better GPU is always welcome. However I didn't knew you were going to upgrade to a Gtx1080ti later so you can ignore my suggested GPU.

EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 is a very high quality PSU with 7 years of warranty. I don't know from where did you read about this PSU but you can go to its amazon link and read the customer's reviews.

Always use two identical Ram sticks instead of one and run them in dual channel. It will give 15-20% more performance than single channel Ram in almost every workload.
