4k YouTube lag

When I try watching a 4k youtube video on my laptop it lags. Now I understand 4k cals for some heavy hardware but I got this laptop for Christmas and it as a beast at everything (except 4k youtube videos) It is an acer aspire v15 nitro black edition 4k with an i7-4710hq nvidia 860m and 16 gb of ram so I dont think its not powerful enough to play the video. I was wondering what the problem is and how I could fix it. I installed flash and that didnt help all that much and the video still lags and is skippy.

Its your internet connection, not the laptop.

4K requires a huge amount of bandwidth. What's your internet connection speed? I know Netflix recommends a minimum 20Mb/s connection and to watch in real time probably needs more like 50Mb/s.
