[SOLVED] 4pin fans to PWM hub

I have 3 noctua 4-pin case fans. I want to put them inside my be quiet 802 case which has a 4 step integrated PWM hub (6x 3-pin).

I’ve know that 3-pin fans work with 4-pin headers, without one of the pins obviously, but does a 4-pin fan work on a 3-pin header and if it is compatible which hole needs to be left empty?

mid it helps my motherboard is ASUS prime x570 pro.

You can. The fans only fit one way because the connectors have a little "frame" around the three pins that aren't the PWM pin.
