4TB Crucial P3 Plus SSD is down to 5 cents per GB, for a limited time only

Just a heads up - This will technically work in a PS5, but it’s a bit too slow. I ran into a lot of issues with FF7 Rebirth and eventually found that they went away after transferring the data to the internal storage from this drive. If you’re just using it in your PC, however, you should be good.

I was super excited to get this drive for my Linux desktop. It technically works, but what a miserable drive. It spits out a bunch of errors about missing and bad nvme config, and it doesn't seem to handle a bunch of basic power management capabilities at all. As a result it drains more power than it should.

I'm considering going back to my 512GB drive, after being so excited with an 4TB upgrade. It's embarrassing to see a company make a drive so incompetent at handling basic NVMe capabilities, please consider finding something else.

Now if only that Crucial 4TB SSD for only $216 can be shoehorned into a phone and tablet which would be a big savings.
