Hi everyone,

Just installed a 4Tb Wd Drive in my pc running windows 10 it sees the whole 4TB but puts it as a Healthy Basic Data partition is this correct as i thought it would show as a Healthy primary partition like my 2TB Drive does.

Thanks

Generally drives larger than 2TB require GPT drive partitioning.
With MBR partitioning partition has description "Primary Partition" or "Logical Drive".
With GPT partitioning partition has description "Basic Data Partition". There are also some special purpose partitions like "EFI System" and "Recovery".
