4TB shows as 2TB even after GPT change [SOLVED]

In Win 10 explorer our Black WD 4TB is now showing as 2TB even after I changed the MBR to GPT.

I now have 2 partitions 700 and 1300 but want to use the other 2TB.

This is not for a boot, just data.

How can I get to see it please.

And when you submit a screenshot of DM as Sky... has advised, right-click on the far left block of Disk Management for the drive (Disk #) in question and CONFIRM that the submenu reflects a grayed-out entry "Convert to MBR Disk". Or does it?

What's the model name of the drive? You can see that in drive properties.

Well, that appears to be a 4TB drive per a Google search. Does your motherboard and CPU support drives of that size? In your BIOS, what size is it shown as (if size is shown at all)?

HI again..

Just thought I'd unhook the drive, cold boot, stop and reconnect the drive.

Now in Disk Mgmt it shows those 2 parts plus 1700+ unallocated.

Did a simple vol and now it looks all okay.

Not sure why that all happened.. but okay now.
