So currently I've got a 4x4 kit of ddr4 ram and I'm needing some more for my current workloads. So my question is if I buy a 4x8 kit of ram with matching speeds, voltage, timings etc. Would I be able to run the lot in quad channel still?
Oh and the ram will be the same brand assuming my thought is correct.
I've currently got an x99 and I'm happy to keep using it until the next hedt platform is released.
