Hi all,

Currently, my system has 2x512MB D9GMHs which are overclocked. Right now I'm planning to get more RAM, hopefully still being able to keep the current RAMs I'm using. I'm wondering if I add 2 more 512MB D9GMHs sticks will it cause my OC some trouble? Or is it better to ditch my current RAMs and just get 2x1GB DGMHs? OR..save the current RAMs, get 1x1GB D9GMH? What would happen if I go for the 1st and 3rd option? Enlighten me  Thanks

Depends on the MB.

For the OP: yes, having 4 slots filled will be more difficult to OC than having 2 filled. However, *how much* more difficult depends on the quality of your memory, chipset, MB design, etc.

For best results, I would go for 2x1GB sticks. that seems to work best rather than having a mixed bag of 512s and 1GBs.
