4x8GB RAM and still slow

Hello.
This is my first post.
I have recently increased my RAM to a full set 4x8GB and my PC now seems to lag more. I'm a graphic designer working Illustator, InDesign and Photoshop with many large layers.
Here are the PC stats - can someone help?

The CPU seems to be running quite hot and it's probably throttling down. Try disabling the BIOS power saving settings, and if necessary change the Windows > Control Panel > Power Saving Options > to the Balanced or High Performance Plan. This to make the CPU cooler fan run at a faster constant speed.. if that cools it down, reapply thermal grease to the CPU and run the computer for a while... it temps get down lower, reset the BIOS and/or Windows Power Options to previous settings (if desired) to make the computer run quieter or as before.

If necessary, use the Motherboard user manual to know the BIOS power options settings.

If that doesn't solve it, install HWiNFO, run it in Sensors only mode, click the opposite pointing arrows to include the full report on screen and take a screenshot of the whole display, save the image and post it here through Tinypic.com or postimage.org

How is 89F hot? That's a C+P of Speccy which the user has chosen to display temp with the Fahrenheit scale. Nothing at all hot about 89F.

Why did you increase your RAM? While you were doing a job were you also looking at the task manager which said all your RAM was in use? Where is your CPU utilization sitting at? Do any of your programs support GPU acceleration? I see the Quadro so I think yes. Are you positive you have your programs set to use the GPU as well as they can?

Is that a single 32GB RAM kit? 2x16? 4x8GB? If I would have upgraded I would have chosen 1600MHz RAM instead of the slower 1333MHz.

No!.. I got that wrong.. It was a quick read and I took it for the usual Centigrade.

Sorry about that mistake.. I took 89º for Centigrade... and the HWiNFO report shows everything in order with the CPU running nice and cool and clock speeds with a slight variation per every core but all withing normal clocks speeds.

Looks to me like a software issue... have you done any software checks so far?...
1. like checking startup programs and disable what you don't need starting up with the OS.
2. clearing out Temp files. Run CCleaner for a thorough cleanup.
3. defragging at least the OS drive.
4. running a disk check.
5. running virus and malware scans.
6. The OS drive C: should have enough free space and if not make some.
7. There are more suggestions in the thread I linked.

3) the OS drive is on a SS drive - I've read that defraging a solid-state can be harmful to the drive
4) Previous disc checks have been good - I have Hard Disk Sentinel installed
5) I run Malwarebytes and McAfee Total Protection - I know that I have two running and should choose one, but which
6) will check the OS drive for space - stay tuned

1) CrashPlan Pro for small business running in the background
2) the PC was built by AVA Direct and will I am steps above a noob I'm not expert. The idea was to build something with server quality that could be upgraded - clearly I have not done my homework.
3) I increased the RAM to improve rendering time and overall efficiency
4) the RAM installed is 4x6BG, a four piece set of 8GB sticks purchased as one package. I used the recommended RAM allocations via a PDF regarding compatible add-ons for the ASUS motherboard.
5) if I need to upgrade to a higher VRAM graphics card - then how do I know that motherboard will support it?

To confirm that your next GFX card is compatible with your motherboard you need to look to the PCIe expansion slot. It says PCI Express 3.0 x16 3(x16 or dual x8 or x8/x4/x4). The card's reqs. says Interface: PCI Express 2.0 x16. The slot is backwards compatible with PCIe 2.0 so compatibility is ensured.

2) The Intel Xeon E3 1275 v3 CPU is not weak at all it's on the level of a top i7 from the same socket... but you can still upgrade it with a same socket Xeon E3 1000 series v3.. for example the Intel Xeon E3-1285L v4 @ 3.40GHz would increase performance about 14% but a i7-4000 series would be much lower priced. The only problem is you can't upgrade much higher than 14% unless you really spend in the same socket.. and that would be better spent on a Kaby Lake system. But we still have to see if solving the software issues takes care of the slow processing issue.
5) The NVIDIA Quadro K2000 is to weak... I don't think you would have a problem getting a better card probably up to 4-5 times faster.

Great news! So processor is good, but the GFX card is too weak - that makes sense. Should I ask about the GFX recommend from another group within the forum or does anyone have a suggestion? I'd like not to invest (at the moment) on anything over $500.
