As title says i have this running for something ~4 years already.
There is a good chance i was avg overheating it for a year since i havent changed paste on it (bro used it up on his...) and cooler was loose for decent period till i found it out.

Is there a way to know if my cpu is damaged or how long will it work? tried to ran prime 95 yesterday but after ~half hour i started speccy to check temps and when it showed 90C on two cores i aborted that test till then tho everything so far passed and 0 errors

As of now i have some medium performance issues stutter some fps drops but weak link on my pc right now is HDD which im goin upg to SSD 500 samsung evo next week. When ill be there ill ask for thermal paste but not sure if i would need to buy new cooler for it too.. if so how to pick one for that cpu?

well run HWINFO and see what temps are doing on CPU and GPU. if either or both are above 80c when gaming , then pop the heatsinks clean them out with alcohol (70% or higher preferred) and reapply fresh thermal paste, then test again.

CPUS are pretty tough, they throttle their speed when close to overheating to prevent damage. I would start there (thermal paste) and see again temps afterwards.

Prime95 isn't the all end of answers, when I had my cpu at 4.7 1.3v it would push pass the 85'c-90c, but never reached 80'c when gaming/using the pc EVER. so I am not a full believer of prime 95 for testing CPU. (I realize that I will not be popular by saying this, but I have had this 4790K for 5 years and still gaming with it. so..to each their own.)
