Hello, I recently bought a Logitech Z506 5.1 speaker set to be paired with my Asrock B550M Pro4 motherboard.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get these into 5.1 surround audio.
I think this has to do with the problem of only 3 audio jacks being present on my motherboard.

Windows doesn't see it as a 5.1 set but only as a stereo device which isn't surprising because I probably hooked it up wrong.

Is there any way to connect 5.1 to 3 pins or should I just skip the hassle and spend 30 euros on a sound card.

I have been browsing through the internet to find a solution but nothing has really helped me.
