Question 5.1 sound System

Dear community,
I am upgrading a Desktop , as the motherboard TUF ASUS dies and the i7 processor too. Im thinking on a PRIME H310M-D Asus. As i have a 5.1 system, i would want to know if it works with this board or if i need a dedicated sound board.
I use the Desktop mainly for photo processing with photoshop, so 16 Gb Ram is necessary.

You won't need to get a sound card as the PRIME H310M-D already supports 8 channel sound (more commonly called 7.1) ---- you can connect either a 7.1 or a 5.1 speaker system to it.
