5-10 minutes until GPU starts up after a reboot

Hello All,

GPU GTX 1070, after rebooting the machine it takes between 5 to 10 minutes until the GPU starts to work and the monitors open up.

I am certain the issue is related to the GPU itself not loading up, because if I switch my HDMI cables to connect to the Motherboard, the monitors come up correctly and I see the PC booted already to the Windows screen.

Also in rare occasions the PC will crash while gaming, and it can take up to an hour for the GPU to load up again.

I inserted the GPU to a different slot, made sure everything is properly connected, updated to latest Nvidia drivers, also my BIOS is updated.

Specs:
Windows 10 (installed on SSD)
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 Mini ITX
CPU: Intel i7-6700K
Motherboard: Asus Strix Z270E Gaming LGA1151
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws-V 2x8GB DDR4
PSU: SeaSonic G Series 550W

Thanks for the assistance!

Solution
there's a bios option (don't remember the exact location, somewhere in peripherls i guess) that lets you choose what GPU it should detect first - PCI-E or integrated graphics, Did you try to change it?
