As of latest patch Edge processes are running in bckground at startup despite it being turned off in Privacy>background apps via Settings

I should mention this is 2018—KB4103721 (OS Build 17134.48) and specifically what IS open

Microsoft edge manager

chakra jit compiler

Runtime_broker

Browser_broker

user interface service

background tab pool

These are all found under the Edge tab upon startup. Does anyone know how to disable them ? there was no problem with previous window 10 versions, and they seem to slow down my machine when attempting to play games. I can CTRL+alt+del to manually end the process but it seems silly that i cant find the setting to disable these unwanted processes from starting automatically. Yes all brackground apps are disabled under privacy, and i have tried repairing and reseting edge to no avail.
All three PC's in our house have the the same problem after the update, Anyone have any idea?
