Question 5 Beeps on startup

Hello, when I start my PC it makes five beeps. My keyboard and mouse don't receive any power but the fans inside the computer are spinning. After those five beeps there is a short break and the it starts making the beeps again and again but the PC won't boot. Is it possible that the CPU is the problem?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition?

Pay close attention to the beeps and beep pattern. Likely some combination of long and short beeps.

Once you have the pattern, go to the motherboard's manufacturer's website. Look for the beep codes to learn what problem is being indicated by the beep pattern.
