Wasnt able to recover my old account. no forgot password email came.

Im trying to use 5 monitors with a gtx-1070 and the internal HDMI/DP port of my ASUS ROG Strix B360-F motherboard.

I understand the4 monitor limitation of the GPU. Ive been running 4 monitors for a while and recently added a 5 for trading view.
Within a few hours of use, (day trading no gaming) Ill get a total reboot out of nowhere, followed by an event of critical kernel 41.
I had a 750 watt PSU so I thought Id hop that up to a 1300 and its still doing it. I know 1300 is plenty for what im doing. 4 of the monitors are 1920x1080 and one is 3440x1400 ish.

I cant see how a PCI graphics card, some cheap DP unit would be any better than the one on the mobo. Ive never had out of nowhere reboots on this system and it doesnt BSOD. Its definitely the 5th.
only does it on IGPU HDMI, the internal DP wont even light up. just makes the new hardware sound every minute or so.

Any Ideas? losing money!!

an event of critical kernel 41.

This is usually PSU issue. Or power issue in general (e.g blackout/brownout with your electricity grid). UPS will fix the main electrical grid issues.

I had a 750 watt PSU

Make and model of that unit was?

Id hop that up to a 1300

Make and model of this unit is? Also, was it bought brand new or used/refurbished?

Within a few hours of use, (day trading no gaming) Ill get a total reboot out of nowhere

While Win logged it as power failure, underlying cause can be high temperatures as well.
So, your CPU/GPU temps are what? Both idle and under load?

Also, full system specs are?

By default, when you have dedicated GPU in your system (GTX 1070), the iGPU inside CPU is disabled. There are ways to enable iGPU while having dedicated GPU as well, but it's complex to do and may not be stable.

losing money!!

This statement of yours doesn't produce any compassion or urgency from my part. Instead it produces resentment. :non:

Not sure why that would produce resentment.. Definitely on a UPS. PC not under load. Everything I do is just static windows. Web browsers and Outlook. EVGA 750 Bronze to EVGA 1300 Gold. Both new. i7 gen 6 or 7, 32gb DDR. I havent been able to record temps as its only happened a handful of times randomly during the last week. It will light up a 5th monitor from the motherboard IGPU, but fails 30 minutes to one day. I didnt have to change anything other than a reboot to get this to happen.

Definitely on a UPS.

UPS make and model (or part number) is?

EVGA 750 Bronze to EVGA 1300 Gold.

You're missing the most important - model names.

Saying you have 750W PSU is like me saying i have AWD vehicle.
Saying you have EVGA 750W Bronze, is like me saying i have Ford with AWD and it's color is blue.
Can you tell me exactly what model of vehicle i have? No, you can not.

i7 gen 6 or 7

There's a huge difference between those, since 6 different CPUs fall into that ballpark. So, again, model name?

Btw, i7-7700K (if you have it) is extremely hot running CPU and if you have that, i wouldn't be surprised if you have thermal issues.

Speaking of thermals, what CPU cooler you have? Which PC case you have? How many case fans? Fans size? Fans orientation?

I don't think you have DDR aka DDR1 in there. Most likely DDR4 or even DDR3, if you're running Skylake family CPU.

How about RAM frequency? Amount of DIMMs?
Also, i don't see MoBo make and model listed.

I havent been able to record temps

How come? Or better yet, do you even know how?

It will light up a 5th monitor from the motherboard IGPU, but fails 30 minutes to one day. I didnt have to change anything other than a reboot to get this to happen.

Your best bet, in fixing the issue with your PC (also the fastest), is to haul your PC to PC repair shop (or call PC technician at your place) and pay them to diagnose the issue.

The required bare minimum of info, system specifications, is so sporadic that i have to dig the needed info out of you. And without the bare minimum, i can't even start to think what might be wrong with your PC. It could be as simple as you cleaning your PC internals from dust. (Speaking of it, when was the last time you did that?) Or it could be far more complex, where i need to make a deep dive into holy bible of PCs.

With PC tech support, making the fix isn't the hardest/most time consuming. Finding out exactly what causes the issue, is the hardest part. And with PCs, it's often trial-and-error, ruling out possible suspects one-by-one.

Not sure why that would produce resentment..

Here's one: trying to create urgency, when you don't pay us a dime, is rude behavior. And i do not like to deal with rude/arrogant people, no matter who they are or how big of a social status they may have.

I dont see any reason to interact with you anymore. You arent trying to help.. Just trying to flex on some weird power trip.

I'm sorry, this information is important and Aeacus asked it for very specific reasons. Nobody likes giving advice about safety equipment without exact information as to the lay of the land, so to speak. He's not asking for your bank account number; just which parts he's giving advice about.

If giving basic information about your PC's components is a power flex, I'm not sure you're going to get the answers you're looking for from anyone. My doctor isn't going on "some weird trip" by wanting to know my blood pressure every time I have a visit, even for seemingly unrelated things.

Things i can pick out of the replies

Motherboard ASUS ROG Strix B360-F
CPU i7 6 or 7 gen..... You need to double check your CPU, a B360 motherboard is for 8th and 9th gen cpus.
Ram 32GB..... what brand, speed, & configuration? 1x32, 2x16, 4x8
GPU gtx 1070
PSU evga 1300w gold..... what model? EVGA makes many models some good and some bad.

Are all your drivers and bios up to date, or on the latest version available?
Are windows updates up to date?
What version of windows are you on? click the start button and type Winver and hit enter. For windows 10 version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.2130) should be the latest version.
