Alright, Teach me almighty display gurus. I have looked at past questions and didn't see any that were using a setup like this, so figured I'd start a new question
I'm in the process of building a computer for a design center that we are building. The computer is going to be running heavy rendering under 3dsmax, blender, and basic design through revit and Solid 9. We are also going to have 5 displays connected to it to have our 3ds max pulled up on one screen, solid 9 for their cabinets on another, blue prints on another, builders other homes on a rotation on another one, etc. Going to have a 70" tv, and 4 additional 32" tvs for the setup. These will not be 4k, just 1080p... and possibly 2160 on the big 70" (haven't decided on that yet). We are going to be running a single 980ti most likely (possibly a 1080 depends on how soon we build it), with the thought of upgrading to dual 980tis in SLI in the future.
But for now what I was hoping to do is take our 980ti hook up 3-4 screens to it, and then take a 750ti that I already have and hook it up as a slave to run the other 1 or 2 screens. Is this something I can feasibly do? I thought there were some weird things that can happen when you start using SLI with multiple monitors but I don't know for sure. Basically if you were in my shoes what would you be doing? Shoot, I even have a nvidia geforce 210 that I could use for the other monitors. There will be no gaming done on the computer, just lots of rendering and those displays would be playing videos, and still images. Thanks
