Unless you're buying used you're not finding any sort of "gaming motherboard" or one with enough VRMs or any type of VRM cooling for overclocking. You need to up your minimum to at least $80 then you can start with something like this:

What cpu are you considering?

Most lga1150 motherboards will overclock a G3258 cpu.
It takes a more expensive motherboard to be able to overclock a "K" suffix cpu.

It will overclock the G3258 well on your stock cooler. I would expect you to be able to reach at least 4.2Ghz.

That isn't accurate. All kseries chips can now be overclocked on all chipsets not made directly by intel, depending depending on bios updates/revisions. That change was made when the old 3258 was released. Yes the better chipsets will yield better results in most cases but not all.
