Hey guys,
I have selected all of the parts I think I need from newegg, and I was just wondering if I am missing anything, or if these parts aren't compatible, etc.

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: Hopefully less than 500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Programming with dreamweaver & coda (web development), eclipse (software development), not much gaming but it would be nice to be able to watch HD movies.

Parts Not Required:keyboard, mouse, monitor

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com for now, but any is good

Country of Origin: usa

Looking for a soundless computer that is fast and efficient.
Occasionally would be using photoshop, won't really ever be playing games.

I have selected the following parts:

I changed a few things. The case was good but the psu included is not a trusted brand. I switched it. The motherboard has no integrated graphics so a GPU was added. RAM was updated to faster 1333 Mhz (try to buy 1333 if the motherboard is compatible and try other brands to see what works). Remember the CPU thermal paste. :)

Case: $60 - CM HAF 912
This case has enough ventilation for heavy work or upgrades and larger fans can be added to reduce noise.

Thank you very much for your response.
I just have a few questions, and some things to add that I forgot to mention in the OP.
1. I have the power cord and a PCI x 16 graphics card (ati raedon 256mb card or something w/ cross fire).
The other modifications are nice, I might be looking to spend an extra few bucks for an 8gb ssd for my OS.

My question:
Won't 380 watts be an overkill for my computer? I think I only used a bit above 125 watts :p

Thanks :)

It can't hurt anything, plus it can be reused in your next build. The problem is most low power units I saw are expensive, outdated. I'll try a couple more stores.

Hm, I didn't know you had to connect your hd to the power :p
I assumed that because you need more watts your power bill will be higher

I don't mean to sound like a novice, but what is a Llano?
A quad core CPU with nice graphics built in. The other dudes are right, get the Llano + FM1 motherboard to save money.

No, it only draws a full 380 watts from the outlet when needed.
