It doesn't have to be intel. I wouldn't mind seeing what AMD can offer me for my budget.

if you add another $70 to the build you could get a core i5 instead. if you wan't I can knock up a quick amd build.
 
An amd build would just allow you to go with more cores gor a slight increase in price. You can get a similar priced board and the amd fx 6300 cpu @ 129.99 and still remain pretty much in budget.

Whether or not it will be better then the intel build is a constant debate so its totally up to you. Personaly im an amd guy so it was an easy choice for me.

thanks for selecting me for best answer ^_^ , I recommend the 7850 over the 560ti if you can find one for the same price aswell! Also that AMD cpu is unlocked so its overclockable so in a bit of time you should grab a good cpu cooler and OC it for extra speed ^_^
