500$ Budget Looking for Improvements

So this is a 500 USD budget build Im building for my brother. Hes new to pc gaming and is using a laptop so I wanted to welcome him. The keyboard and mouse bundle are there because he isn't using a keyboard and the cheap monitor is there because The budget was getting tight and he wont tell the diffrence hehe. so can you guys help me out and see if this is the best bang for the buck before I order this off of newegg. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/t8v3gs

Im alright with the better gpu, He isn't gonna play any games that stress the gpu that bad personally I'm just gonna save the money as I'm trying to get my rig upgraded from 2010.
