Hi, I'm a first time pc builder. I would like to build a mini itx pc for a number of reasons, so no opinions are wanted on that aspect of the build. The purpose of this build is gaming, along with web surfing and watching videos. I have been looking at parts, and this is what I've picked out so far:

Intel i3 4130

Asrock H81M ITX motherboard

Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB(1x8GB) RAM

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM

Asus HD 7790 1GB

Cooler master elite 120

Corsair CX430W Power Supply

Lite-On DVD/CD Writer

The peripherals are all taken care of.

I might recommend switching out the 7790 for a GTX 650ti because the prices are just about the same and the 650ti has a bit better performance. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121686)

One thing worth a mention is if you need or want Wifi, it's probably best to address that early on as it's not such an easy addition later.

The Elite 130 is also worth a mention, as it's not much more expensive than the 120 and (in my opinion) looks a bit more modern and has slightly better airflow (though frankly that's not hard). They are very similar cases though.

I'd always be tempted to try to squeeze an i5 into any Intel gaming build, but at your price point its definitely pushing things. Personally, I'd probably go with an Athlon X4 and a better graphics card to push the gaming end of things, but if it's more of a general purpose machine that it'll work absolutely fine.
