$500 New Comp Build (for minior gaming)

Wussup guys,
I am build a computer for minior gaming and i just need the core parts.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: End of this month BUDGET RANGE: (US$100-500)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: (gaming, watching movies, surfing the internet. )

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: (keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, Rom drives, OS) **Re using a 450watt PSU**

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Any trusted sites

PARTS PREFERENCES: nope just want it to be reliable

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe in a few years SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: (1280x1024)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I would like a quiet PC

With the hard drives i just want one that will not DOA on me or die anytime soon want it to last for a good 5-10 years
I am still unsure about the mobo so i will take any reconmmendations
I would like a new case with a power supply but not willing to spend more than $50 on it

This is not really better... unless you think you might need to upgrade to 8GB in the future:

I never quite understand how these guys do this... P43 is not supposed to support DDR3. ASRock is always doing stuff like this and making it work.

It's the same performance as the RAM you chose, same price, only DDR3.

If you were doing some memory intensive task I would say go DDR3 now, but for a budget build it doesn't make much difference.

Check out my post, i am also building a $500 gaming rig. Im using a 4850 also, but i have the antec case w/ 500 w psu.

For your hdd, i would get something maybe 32 cache if that matters to you.
