Hello,
I am looking into building my second gaming rig. I'm basically looking into building a computer that's at an entry level, somewhere around the $500 budget. I have built a gaming computer before, well kind of, my cousin built it pretty much and I learned from helping him out and watching. I did upgrades to that rig overtime myself(gpus, ram, cooler, etc). One of the main reasons why I'm building a new rig is because my old MOBO died on me.
Anyways on to the point, which is the new rig. I'm interested in a build consisting of the following parts.
CPU : A79-8351 :: AMD FD6300WMHkBOX FX-6300 Six-Core 3.5GHz AM3+ Processor - AM3+, Six-Core, 3.5GHz, 14MB, 95W, Unlocked
Motherboard: M452-9700 :: MSI 970A-G43
If there are better mobos out there in a similar price range please tell me, also make sure they have USB 3.0 connection available since a lot of cases have a front 3.0 port now.
Case:Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01 cooler wont fit 🙁
I was going to settle on this case it looked pretty appealing, and offered some pretty good features for it's price, HOWEVER I find out i cant use my cooler master hyper 212 evo with this case
Also Cable management is a must
If you guys could find me a case that is similar to this one around the same price that can fit the cooler, that would be wonderful.
Memory:G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop
The parts that I listed above are parts that must be bought new. Now the parts I am listing next are parts that I already have and I need some advice on whether some would still be viable to use or need to be replaced. The reason why I am doing this is so that I can save as much money as possible an invest in a better GPU.
Case Fans I have quite a few, can I reuse them?
Current GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition

This will most likely be upgraded depending on the amount of money I save from reusable parts.
The gpu i was thinking about upgrading to was the Sapphire Radeon R9 270x 4gb OC edition
Power Supply: This power supply is the first one I bought for first rig, It is 6 YEARS old so i was wondering on whether I can reuse it or have to buy a new one.
Its a 500W psu which is from PC Power and Cooling Silencer series
PC Power and Cooling Silencer PPCS500 500W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS Certified
Storage: I was using a Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB. Thinking about wiping it and just using that.

The other option I had in mind was getting small SSD and using the 1TB HDD as backupstorage.
If you all could help out this newbie with this stuff, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
