[SOLVED] 500gb hdd only reading 29.1gb

Hello everyone I have a hp stream 14-cb011wm with like 500gb hdd in it i think not positive... However I know for a fact it's not a 29.1gb hdd for some reason at the win 10 install screen it tells me the only available memory is 29.1gb why?? I know it has ATLEAST 250gb

That's normal what you're seeing. Win10 hasn't formatted it yet.

this one? it has a 32GB eMMC on the motherboard. it is this 32GB that you need to install windows to. I had a stream 7 tablet with the same eMMC and I needed a special version of windows a .wim file for that.
an eMMC is flash memory but not as fast as an SSD, but still faster than a HDD often used on lower specs machines like the stream series.
