Hey there, im looking at purchasing a new internal storage device and i am looking at 3 options, (which are all the same price range),
1. Seagate Momentus 500gb SSHD -8gb MLC Nand, 5400rpm
2. Western Digital 750gb HDD - 7200rpm
3. Samsung 840 Evo 120gb SSD

I am doing mostly photo editing in programs like adobe photoshop and lightroom as well as internet browsing and other stuff. If i got the SSD i would buy an external HDD for storage of photos and documents. There are obviously positives and negatives for each option but i am struggling to make a desicion. Would love your help and advice, cheers
Jai.

SSD is the way to go if you want a new Windows boot drive.

And you'll need at least two drives for data storage -- one as a backup. I don't save any data on my boot drive, it's all on four external drives (same data on each).
