Well, I'm currently using a 7750 and I've decided to pass it off to my old PC, and get a new one. Possibly under $250 USD. The big question is that will my Cooler Master 500W power supply be enough for BOTH my i7-3770 (NOT 3770k) and a 500W recommended power like the 7850 or the GTX 560 ti? Nvidia said that the 560 NEEDS not RECOMMENDED 500W but another row said the max graphics card power is 170W. Is it going to use 500W completely or just uses 170W and the rest is for overkilled safety? Or maybe just sack this idea and go for 550ti which 'needs' 400W and max power 116W? Im worried that my system won't run correctly if I don't have enough power. Considering the 6850 since it performs twice as good as the 7750 and it doesn't require any power lines.
Specs: 500W Cooler Master, i7-3770 (Power usage 77W), 16GB DDR3, AOC 21.5" 1080x1920 screen, Seagate 1TB SSD, LG Disk drive (If this has anything to do with it lol) I will be playing mostly Minecraft but also some flight simulation games. please help, everyone. thanks a lot.
p.s. I would also want to plug it in my 40" Sony Bravia TV. The 7750 said it can support a 4????x???? resolution. But in the websites neither the 560 nor the 550 supports that resolution. I'm 60% sure that my TV is like 2560x1600. It's already one year old.
