I intend to upgrade my gpu to a gtx 1660 super, my current build is :
Ryzen 5 3500
A320m mobo
16gb dual channel ram
Antec vp 500w v1 bronze
Rx 460 2gb
3x120mm fan

Can i still use my psu for the gtx 1660 super 6gb, or should i change it. Im in a tight budget, so im hoping that my psu can still be of use.

Yes you may retain the PSU, no worries!

The antec vp v1 is group regulated and only rated at 30C. It's definitely not something I would use, it won't blow your system up, but it may shorten the lifespan of your pc parts in the long run. It's also only rated at 200-240v, so if the power in your mains drops below that, it should shutoff.

You can use it for now, but try to replace it with a modern unit with a dc-dc secondary asap.

TBH, I'd personally get a better psu before getting a better gpu.
