500w psu enough for gtx970?

Hi, maybe somebody knows what psu good for gtx 970? 520w seasonic s12ii is good? I'm thinking to buy i3-6100 cpu and add i5 or i7 latter? It's good for oc and single gpu? I even don't know if i'm ocing latter. Also someone can recommend good gpu for money, maybe gtx 970 too powerfull?

Yes, that seasonic PSU will be good. And the GTX 970 is a good GPU. An i3 might bottleneck it a bit in some games, but overall I think it'd be a good combo.

I3 6100 and GTX 970 won't have major issue together and they'll handle games at 1080p pretty well. 520w seasonic PSU you have is sufficient for gtx 970.

R9 390 is another option,but going with the gtx 970 in your case is more fair, gtx 970 is more efficient...also overclocks well.

If you have a 1080p monitor, then a gtx 970 won't be a waste.
