500w psu for a phenom ii x4 955

That is not a reliably built PSU...

You should look for a PSU that is as close to Tier 1 as possible. What sort of brands do you have access to and where are you located?

A $16 PSU in Malaysia, a market where an excellent PSU costs ten times as much? A mystery brand with 21 amps on the +12V rail, meaning it hasn't been a 500W power supply since about 1997? Wires that look about as sturdy as shoestring licorice? Yeah...no.
