I'm about to buy a 750W power supply for my RTX 2080 Super, but I NEED to know: Will my current 500W power supply damage my 2080 Super in any way? Please help!

Solution
Which "500w" do you have, specifically?

Even with a very low power draw CPU, 500W is cutting it really, really close with a 2080Super.

If it's a quality PSU, it should be ok as a temporary solution - if it's poor quality, it may well damage your card in the long run.

It is a PSU that came with my prebuilt HP Omen Desktop. This is what it's listed as in the product details: "Shadow Black tower with 500W Bronze efficiency power supply (non-K)"
