500watt PSu enough for gtx 760

AMD A8 APU draws 100watts peak.
Asus A88-X Pro motherboard
2, 4gbs Corsair Vengeance DDR3 Ram
1 DVD-RW/CD-RW
1tb WD Black
Antec P280 mid tower case
3 Case fans and 7 USB Devices/peripherals

So I'd like to buy a gtx760 but I've been told you need a 600w psu to avoid instability. The minimum on the nivida website is 500w with a 12v rail and 30 amps. Will my psu be sufficient without instability?

i think CX 500 will do the job but with 7 usb diveces better get CX600

550W will be more than enough. That system you will draw nearly 500W at full load with cooling fans. Get a Seasonic made XFX 550W power supply. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013

Dear,
If you are into overclocking then you should consider buying minimum 600W PSU with minimum efficiency of 85% otherwise 525 will be enough. Current 500W will definitely work on GTX760. However it is recommended that you should have PSU more than the rated requirement as a safety precaution so as to avoid system instability.

In my opinion, power supply is an investment because bucks spent on a good PSU will be guaranteed to save money spent on all other components of the system.

Whenever buying PSU pl check its 80 plus certification (It is not at all that PSU without this certification won't work). After that check for its LOAD and STRESS in terms of efficiency. Go with higher one. Now a days modular PSU are available which makes cable management an easy task.

Dear, if you have budget and you have plan to upgrade your PC in future then pl god for GS-700W, otherwise you'll end up buying yet another PSU in future while upgrading. If there are constraints then you can stick with either 525W or 550W for which Cooler Master Extreme-II will also serve the purpose. I've a excellent experience with CM Extreme-II 525W. Also GS/TX series Corsair are good enough.
