Hi. I get around 50fps on GTA V on the lowest settings and when I watch people try out gta with the same gpu as I have they get around 60-80fps on ultra settings. All my temps are good and nothing seems to be throttling
My specs:
Gtx 1060 6gb, Ryzen 5 1400, 8gb ddr4

PS. I run the game in 1920x1080 and I have two monitors so I was thinking if the second monitor could affect the fps.

Do they have the same CPU and RAM as well? Those two components also play a big role in FPS. And if your second monitor is just displaying your background screen, browser, or any other basic application, then no it will not affect FPS.

Also setting game settings to low also throws more tasks to the CPU over the GPU, so keep putting everything to the highest and work down from there. GTA V utilizes single core CPU performance as well, so AMD will drop FPS compared to intel for that game.

Single Core performance? Will hell, no wonder people keep saying the game was never well optimized. I'm assuming Rockstar Games did a much better job optimizing Red Dead Redemption 2.

16 gbs of ram is the true minimum for gaming so you really should buy another 8 gbs and maybe even a better CPU. However, I don't think it will matter that much for this game since it wasn't designed to utilize the hardware to its true potential anyway. I'm surprised people still play this game.
