i have ordered a rosewill 530 w psu and i was wondering if it will work with my his iceq 7870

I guess it's the rosewill green, so yes, it's fine, it has more amps/juice than required for the 7870.

ya i was worried about only having one 6 pin connector buy i guess i can use the 6 from the 6+2

Yes, you can, it's a decent psu, you shouldn't be worried, it has 41A on the +12v rail, more than enough for any 7870 or 7950.
