54mbps to 300+mbps router, any difference?

I'm thinking about upgrading to a new router with 300+mbps. The question is, will I notice any difference? I have 7 devices connected to my current router. 2 Tablets, 2 phones, 5 computers. 1 table uses this app for texting, the other one is for nothing but both youtubes. 2 phones which I don't know what they are used for is connected. All 5 computers youtubes, downloads, and only 3 games. I don't know if this information will help you guys. I just want to know if the upgrade would be worth it.

You will notice a difference transferring data from devices to other devices on a network (eg. Home media server, etc), and if your internet bandwidth exceeds that 54mbps you will potentially notice a large increase in bandwidth to wifi devices.
