I'm having a REALLY annoying problem. My 550 ti sli setup isn't scaling my games at all. I get the exact same fps with sli as I do with a single card, sometimes actually worse. I'm just at a loss as to what to do. If there's anything anyone can do to help this, I would be forever grateful.

set up:
PNY GTX 550 Ti x2 Sli
PSU- 600 watt thermaltake
8 gigs of ram at @ 1400 Mhz
CPU- FX-6100 @3.6 ghz stock heatsink

P.S. Yes, I know the 550 ti isn't the best card in the world and I should upgrade blah, blah, blah. But I wouldn't be asking for help with this problem if I had the means to upgrade. So, please, any help at all would be great.

Have you tried clean driver install? Also check all the connectors and connection are properly connected; card seated well in the pcie slots, all 6 pin power connector connected properly to the card, sli bridge seated properly. What is ypur mobo exact model?

Yup, I've tried a clean install of several drivers to see if maybe my cards just didn't like the 314.22 driver set. Right now I'm running the 320.00 betas and they don't seem to be helping at all, either and as far as I can tell they're seated well in their pcie slots. They get detected in the control panel and I have sli enabled through there, it just doesn't seem to want to work like two cards. I've been using msi afterburner to monitor their usage and in games like battlefield 3, they only reach about 30-50% usage, but with just one card enabled, it easily reaches 90-100% usage on that game while still stay within safe heat. Do you maybe think it could be a faulty sli bridge? I don't get any artifacts or weird colors on screen, but thats the only thing I could think could be the problem at this point.

Oh and my motherboard is the m5a99x evo

I did oc it a little. Its stock 3.3 and I have it at 3.6 right now. You think I should oc it more? I really don't think thats the problem, but I'm willing to try anything at this point.
