Im thinking of buying a new gaming pc
The specs will be:
Asus p8h67-m motherboard
i5 2500k
8gb ddr3 ram
Cooler master extreme power plus 600w power supply
Seagate 1gb hdd
Cooler master elite 430
Windows 7 home basic 64 bit
My budget restricts me to two graphics cards
Gtx 550 ti in sli
Or
Gtx 560 ti???
I'll be using this pc for playing games like battlefield3 and modern warfare3 on highest settings possible
Or should I wait for the 600 series (if dey perform better than the current 500 series in the same range) ???

Solution
As for MoBo, I would suggest a P8P67 or Z68 MoBo not a P8H67. If ya keeping for a few years, I'd be concerned whether or not it comes with an industry standard 3 year warranty (Asrock doesn't).

P8P67 Pro - $150 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131771
P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 - $210 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131790

Decide which after reading this:

CM is not a brand I'd consider for PSU's.....and I'd go for an 850 watter for twin OC'd 560 Ti's ..... a $650 if you are absolutely convinced you'd never get a 2nd card

9.5 jonnyguru rating would include Corsair TX V2 and many others but the XFX...

unlike p67 or some micro atx z68 or most atx z68 motherboards, micro atx h6x motherboards usually do not support multi card combinations. they also do not allow cpu overclocking, so you won't be able to oc your i5 2500k if you want. your motherboard is better suited for single card. if your psu can support it, get the 560 ti.
afaik no reliable info is available on 600 series cards, only rumors.

9.5 jonnyguru rating would include Corsair TX V2 and many others but the XFX Core Edition 850 is cheaper at $90 than all the others.
$90 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207011

10.0 jonnyguru performance rating would include CP-850 for ANtec compatible cases (DF-85 & 1200 V3) or the HX850 for others.
$115 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371024
$160 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011

For a single card again, no one else has a 9.5 jonnyguru performance rated PSU for $60
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207014

RAM - $46 - Corsair 8GB LP Vengeance http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233186

Case - I'd take the Antec 300 Illusion or 902 V3 .... both at huge discounts at the moment .... Illusion and Elite kinda small for SLI though
$40 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066
$90 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129097

GFX - I'd get a single factory OC's 560 Ti and add the 2nd later on. The Giga is cheapest at $215 but I'm partial to the Asus model which is now carrying a $15 premium.
$230 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121425

It has the highest performance per dollar of any card over $200.

Guru3D uses the following games in their test suite, COD-MW, Bad Company 2, Dirt 2, Far Cry 2, Metro 2033, Dawn of Discovery, Crysis Warhead. Total fps (summing fps in each game @ 1920 x 1200) for the various options in parenthesis (single card / SL or CF) are tabulated below along with their cost in dollars per frame single card - CF or SLI:

$ 220.00 6950 (479/751) $ 0.46 - $ 0.59
$ 260.00 6950 Frozr OC (484/759) $ 0.54 - $ 0.69
$ 205.00 560 Ti (455/792) $ 0.45 - $ 0.52
$ 320.00 6970 (526/825) $ 0.61 - $ 0.78
$ 230.00 560 Ti - 900 Mhz (495/862) $ 0.43 - $ 0.50
$ 340.00 570 (524/873) $ 0.65 - $ 0.78
$ 500.00 580 (616/953) $ 0.81 - $ 1.05
