550W Enough ???

Hi im buying all of these components. (not from amazon btw) and im wondering if 550 G2 from evga will cut it because they only got the 550w and 850w version where im shopping and i dont want to spend that extra cash if its not needed. Im planning to OC the CPU and GPU to its max pontential. heres what i will buy:

I got 2x 1TB WD HDDs from my previouc pc that i will keep.

Feel free to tell me if i should replace something. I will only use this PC for gaming.

It should be fine with a single card, although it says that it is sli / Crossfire ready. You are using the same Motherboard I did on my upgrade, only I went with the 6700k. The 6600k is a great processor and has a good price.

Thanks for the reply. i know for a fact i will never SLI... should i replace this one with a slightly lower cost MB?

yes, 550w is enough

The evga supernova GS 550w would better

No, it is a very good motherboard for the price. As I said, I am using it and think it is well worth the price.
 
The Seasonic based GS is a great PSU, but the G2 is a Superflower PSU, which JonnyGuru gave a 10 of 10. It's hard to say that the GS is better. Either one is fine, but I would probably stick with the G2, given that they are similarly priced.
