Question 5600x enable 3600 ram

How do I enable my CPU to accept 3600 ram?

And 5600x

Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 X 16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 1.35V Desktop Memory

Switch on XMP/DOCP in the BIOS and select 3600mhz. Ensure the stick are in the correct slots.

When I out xmp on it automatically puts the ram to 3600.

The sticks are in the proper spots

The computer shuts off and on 3 times after I hit save and exit. Then reverts back to default.

I've found it frequently helps to manually set the VDimm to the rated voltage for your memory...probably 1.35V, but check it's package.

Also, if you've ever used any other memory or this is a 'first boot' after a build do a CMOS reset first. If you're unsure of this just do a CMOS reset anyway.

And last...probably obvious...make sure the DIMM's are in the 2nd and 4th DIMM sockets going away from the CPU.

Do I not have to touch anything other than xmp and manual voltage to 1.35v?

Nothing to do with infinity fabric?
