Hi, I'm new an this will be my first post

I am experiencing whea incorrectable error/blue screen on a daily basis

System
Cpu 5600x
Mb gigabyte b550 with the latest bio update
Ram ddr4 16gb Adata rgb[tested with new rams still get whea incorrectable error]
Psu 650w
Gpu 1080 gtx
Liquid cooler

New Window10 install up to date drivers etc

There is one good news

Whea error only happens on when power option is on either high performance or balance

When I have power on saving mode the pc seem stable,

I don't know if it's a hardware, an which hardware?

Any help is much appreciated

WHEA = Windows Hardware Error Architecture. Its an error called by CPU but not necessarily caused by it. Can be any hardware

what make/model PSU?

latest chipset drivers? https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/b550

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

  1. Open Windows File Explore
  2. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
  3. Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
  4. Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
  5. Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
  6. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
  7. Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

try running this and check CPU - - https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/prime95-download.html

i hate errors that don't create dumps. It is like PC doesn't want to be fixed.

did you run Prime 95?

what ssd/hdd do you have? We will need to test most of your stuff. I don't think its likely to be AIO

the power plan thing is odd. did you update chipset drivers as there might be 2 other power plans although I been led to believe they don't exist anymore. Could be Ryzen Balanced & Ryzen High Performance as well. I am not sure though as I had heard they being removed, although I still have them
VovgBzq.jpg

updating Ryzen Master might help them too.

Yes i ran prime95 for 1.30hrs with no issues

SSD is ADATA SX6000PNP(main) also a Kingston sa400s37480g SSD but has no files in it but is hooked up

whea incorrectable error set at 0% when system crash (Hence why minidump file isn't created?)

Chipset is on the latest one Via link down below

I don't have Ryzen power plans like you have (Installed apps) https://ibb.co/9h89QLS (Power plan) https://ibb.co/3sKRZHP

Thanks Colif

Do you have this installed? https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/ryzen-master
not so much for the overclocking but it includes drivers that may help

I don't think its the PSU, that model seem okay from the reviews I saw.

since it won't produce dumps
Can you download and run Driverview - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html

All it does is looks at drivers installed; it won't install any (this is intentional as 3rd party driver updaters often get it wrong)

When you run it, go into view tab and set it to hide all Microsoft drivers, will make list shorter.

Can you take a screenshot from (and including)Driver name to (and including)Creation date.

upload it to an image sharing website and show link here

I just want to see whats running. Did you install any Gigabyte apps? Such as Easytune?

VSoC = System of a chip. I had to work out what it meant...
increasing it can help system stability, as you have found.
it helps with memory speed as well.

which part is helped by it isn't clear but it seems to help in some systems

Hey my pc is fixed, it was my m.2 ssd that was causing the whea error. did a new clean install on a regular ssd kingstong/non m.2

No more pc crash, its either a faulty m.2 or the MB m.2 hardware is faulty
