Question 5600x won’t get past mobo bootscreen

alright so basically i have a 5600x and it stops at the gigabyte splash screen. i used to have a 3600 and the only thing i swapped was the cpu and now it won’t work.bios works but that’s it. i’ve tried the no usb devices, uefi and legacy mode, to no success. i’ve seen that motherboards that need bios updates don’t post at all. so i should be in the clear with thwt ??

Probably best to reveal your exact current mainboard and it's existing BIOS before speculating that it should /could/will/will not support the newer 5600X...

Which MB, even some 500 series MBs need a BIOS update ?
