560ti: should I upgrade to a 280x or wait?

Since the next generation AMD/Nvidia cards are coming, is it worth it upgrading to a 280x from my 560ti or should I just go to a 760 or 660 ti and wait for the 800 series?

the difference in performance (theoritically always provided by that site) is big. You can always wait but you know that things change really fast in these things. My opinion is go for the 280x, you gonna notice a lot of performance. The 800 series are expected for the Q1 of 2014 but still we don't have any news about them. If you can wait, wait but maybe the period that 800series will come out maybe Amd will announce something newer and you gonna ask yourself the same question 😛

If you're willing , wait until the 800 series.

If you bought it now then the R9 280X will be the better card out of the three.

Alright I know the card is old, is there any card that gives a good jump but is not overly expensive then? I plan to upgrade to an 800 series card when they are announced and I play mostly MMOS like Final Fantasy and the occasional battlefield 4 game now.

I have a 6300 vishra 6core AMD CPU
8 gigs of ram
1TB drive atm
and the 560ti
